Christiann Sapp is a young, eager performer who is very wild about the arts; theatre, musical theatre, and opera to be specific. Her infatuation began in high school where she performed as a chorus member in Beauty and the Beast, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, Kitty in the Drowsy Chaperone, and Essie Carmichael in You Can't Take It With You. Alongside those high school theatre performances, Christiann excelled in solo singing. She received the highest rating at State each year of high school for her independent music. After High School, Christiann went on to further her musical skills and expand her education at the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory. During her first year, she was involved with the Opera Rodelinda and sang in the Chorus of Amahl and the Night Visitors. Coming into her second year of college she will be performing as a chorus member for Hansel and Gretel, and also as Amahl for this years production of Amahl and the Night Visitors. She is taught by some of the best music professors in the Midwest, her Vocal teacher Dr. Maria Kanyova being one of them. Christiann is well equip to teach diction, theory, and different styles of singing, and her abilities will only grow stronger as she continues to pursue her Vocal Performance degree.
